Whiskey Tit in Vermont on the Ides of March

Posted on
Join the East Coast literary sensations of renegade publisher Whisk(e)y Tit as they come together for a small-batch flight of unmatched smoothness in literary complexity, triple-distilled sentencecraft, and perfectly aged live performance. Together on stage at the Vermont College of Fine Arts to celebrate the Ides of March, we offer today’s pub classics and undiscovered greats of today, including samples of these fine blends:
— Massachusetts mailman YARROW PAISLEY will present sections from his 2017 collection I, NO OTHER.
— M.B.F. WEDGE will present the debut outing of her gripping memoir in collage, the Tarpaulin Sky Book Prize finalist KNICKPOINT.
— NYC-based STEFAN O. RAK brings ADVENTURES OF BASTARD AND M.E., the greatest absurdist cyber-punk noir ever written, to the great cold north.
— And incomparable Whiskey Tit flagship author JOEY TRUMAN will be reading from KINDERRINDER.
Join us for a literary evening the likes of which rarely make it to Montpelier, including multimedia performative capers, sonic interludes, and maybe even broken bones.
Whiskey Tit attempts to restore degradation and degeneracy to the literary arts. We are unwilling to sacrifice intellectual rigor, nor unrelenting playfulness, nor visual beauty, often leading to texts that would otherwise be abandoned in an increasingly homogenized US literary landscape. In a world gone mad, our refusal to make this sacrifice is an act of civil service and civil disobedience alike, and our work reflects this. We welcome like-minded readers and writers.
